To push the visitor towards the westernmost part of Sicily, are the many combinations of history that form an enchanting landscape with infinite points of view. On the tip  extreme of the island there is our Marsala, with its yellow-ufo, blue sea, red-sunset, whitish, green and green colors.

From Phoenician origins, with Greek, Roman, Arab, Norman, Swabian, Spanish influences, Marsala is rich in artistic beauties and unique and unrepeatable contents. The international fame of the city, on the other hand, is linked to the well-known fortified wine the "Marsala" that you can  taste in one of the many Marsala wineries, among the best known we remember the Florio winery and the Pellegrino winery, in  where you can take guided tours and tastings.  In the history of Italy, the fame of Marsala is linked to the famous landing of Garibaldi and the Thousand, on 11 May 1860. Porta Garibaldi serves as an entrance to the historic center of the city, even if the heart of Marsala is the refined Piazza della Repubblica . Palazzo VII Aprile and the majestic Mother Church, with a splendid Baroque façade, overlook it.

The whole historic center is part of the so-called "Cassaro", which indicates the main street of Marsala that goes from Piazza Matteotti to Porta Nuova. Not to be missed is a visit to Baglio Anselmi, home to the Regional Archaeological Museum, where the remains of two ships, Roman and Punic, are preserved, the latter found near the Stagnone Nature Reserve, a place where man, nature and archeology have coexisted admirably for centuries in a spectacle of the unique colors of the salt pans.

From here it is possible to observe the most beautiful sunset in the world, the spectacle of the setting sun is so as to seem painted by an artist. The fiery red blends with the white salt dunes and the colors of the water. Everything is made even more suggestive by the natural setting of the lagoon, which houses the Mulino d '  Infersa, and from the panorama of the Isola Lunga or Grande, reachable on foot from the beach of  San Teodoro.

Inside the lagoon there is a small archipelago of islets: Isola Lunga, Santa Maria, Schola and Mozia.

The sea here remains very low, the salt pans are one of the peculiarities of the Stagnone and can be visited as well as the imposing mills that were and are used for pumping water and for grinding salt. In this wonderful area you can take romantic horseback rides and recently thanks to the new cycle-pedestrian path that runs along the entire Reserve, you can admire the view

SAN VITO LO CAPO

It is one of the most popular destinations in western Sicily, thanks to its mild climate even in winter. Its position allows it to be reached from the two airports: Florio and Falcone-Borsellino.
A village village with low houses dotted with jasmine and bounganville, a Mediterranean atmosphere that immediately promises a lot of relaxation. The naturalistic beauties and the magic of places touched by myth are just some of the reasons that make a holiday in this corner of paradise indispensable. A few kilometers away is also the suggestive natural pearl of the Zingaro Nature Reserve and the splendid Monte Cofano

ERICE

Medieval village among the most in Italy, a special place where you can breathe harmony and pleasure for traditions. The gray stone fills all its spaces like a carpet, guides us to discover hidden corners, invites us to capture unexpected panoramic glimpses, to peek through the railings to admire the intimate beauty of the courtyards. Almost a hundred churches and convents that can still be admired today. In the air the scent of good things, a scent that makes children feel like again. Strongly colored carpets and ceramics peek out from the workshops of the artisans, while small chests of real pasta, decorated like lace, together with the famous Genoese and martorana fruit, wink from the windows of the ancient pastry shops.
